  1. Also I think the JVs , MOD for TW and Lloyds ( Citas?) for BDEV , were paid for up front , so prettying up the figs ? D
  2. I expect all the top bods at cml and HBs are in the same lodge. There'll be much waffling and nothing will change . imho D
  3. Elites in their mansions , workers in their mudhuts. Sounds familiar some how. D
  4. Can beat that , our house was bought for £1 in '66 , then made habital . Might post a pic 🤔 The lady who had the work done documented it with photos which we have , quite interesting seeing the builder wearing his tie next to an old comma van 🙂👍 D
  5. Whatever the likely outcome is , I wish they'd just get on with it tbh. D
  6. Build millions of council houses , to be owned by the state , not HAs or in Insurance Cos etc. D
  7. Not much of an explanation as to what this is. Is it asking for my home valuation, something I'm watching, something sold? D ( Mr Thicky )
  8. Also , isn't the ONS mid way through changing the way they measure stuff? Which was supposed to ne ready in March but now not until September? STBC of course, may have misheard. D
  9. Don't go in for fairtrade / eco stuff as a rule . Only the Clipper tea and Ecover , doing our little bit for the world , rest of my money goes in my pension pot 😁 D
  10. Orange box I hope? You won't regret it 👍 D
  11. Love my clipper every day tea 😋 Nothing compares to it tbh. D
  12. Indeed, diesel up locally to me last couple of weeks.
  13. Can't make my mind up between VUAG or VWRP VUAG 0.07% (Acc version of VUSA ) VWRP 0.22% ( Acc ) I want the S&P which I get in the latter but with only about 4% exposure to UK , which I'm happy with. Current fund AJ Bell Growth Global , is pretty much the reverse. But as they're my broker there are no dealing charges on their funds. Other fees higher tho , hence I'm looking to switch. Trouble is currently S&P looks quite toasty , so may just start small mthly , then add larger shld we get a pull back. Decisions 🤷
