Cheaper rents is one advantage for the north. Are Stormont allowed to set their own corporation tax rates for NI? Even if they were allowed, DUP wouldn't agree to it.

If you're referring to the Ulster banner flag, I have seen it before at Ireland matches. It's mostly viewed with bemused indifference. Given that it has not been an official flag since 1973 and N.I is not a country. Most sensible Ulster supporters would bring an actual Ulster red and yellow flag. You know, the one that actually represents the 9 counties of Ulster, which the provincial team represents.

It is largely right though, broadly. Most NI football supporters would be unionist DUP, TUV , UUP supporters. Ulster rugby fans would be more of a mix of DUP, UUP, Alliance and SDLP supporters.

Thanks, some good points you have made. I hadn't focused on insurance, maintenance, rates but they do make a substantial difference. My only worry is I can't see prices dropping too much in NI. What with increase in migrants needing housed, people relocating from London, people moving up from the south in search of cheaper housing. I think I probably will rent for another 6 months. If no crash happens by April 2023, I will probably take the plunge and buy.

I would love for you to be correct. Do you think it would apply more to properties over a certain amount? I just couldn't see a £150k property dropping to £105k or a £300k property dropping to £210k. A £1m property dropping to £700k? Possibly more likely.

I don't think the truth will ever come out in MSM about all this. It's too far gone, multiple people would need to be brought up on criminal charges who are in the public sphere. It looks destined to be a classic cover up. Unusually though, there is a larger than ever percentage of the public who are now aware of media censorship and propaganda for the very first time.
